Yes you just said it, the Hornets beat teams that have won finals, The Hornets demolished the Spurs atleast twice, and Kobe is really the only player on the Lakers with real playoff experience, the Hornets IMO are the best team in the West and I dont think them not being to the playoffs recently is going to hurt them the Suns choke every year, as do the Mavericks soo I dont see why either of them should be close to the finals either...

Honestly playoff experience is overrated, whats the difference between a game in the regular season and in the playoffs besides the fact that players want to win more and the crowds get bigger and louder...Theirs not much of a difference, if you can play basketball then you can play basketball regular season and playoffs and by your theory the Celtics are going to do horrible in the playoffs right? Because Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Kendrick Perkins and Rajon Rondo have practically NO playoff experience

the celtics have three allstars in a weak eastern conference. the hornets only have chris paul and david west in a western conference that is stronger than ever. theres a big difference in the playoffs and the regular season, teams r more intense, coaching makes a big difference, experience helps. did u see the spurs and the suns, tim duncan woudnt have hit that 3 in any other game, in fact hte spurs probably woud have lost if it was a regular game. the hornets first round matchup favor the maveriks anyways. dirk has constitently been better than david west and jason kidd is almost as good as chris paul, terry is better than bonzi wells, howard is as good as stojokavic, and dampier is a little worse than chandler.

Well favoring the Mavericks didnt work out for them and that was a ridiculously bad breakdown

The Hornets have a much better overall team and its definetly showing in the first game, Chris Paul IS MILES ahead of Jason Kidd he is the BEST PG in the league, only a homer would say otherwise

Chris Paul is MUCH better than Jason Kidd...

chris paul is not that much better than jason kidd, paul is better offensively, but he only averages one more assist per game, but jason kidd much better defensively, and he is much more experienced. if u look at my pridictions i have the maverik losing, and the reason the mavericks arent going to win the series is because they dont have the team chemistry that the hornets have, but there r several team that will beat the hornets before they get to the finals. and until the hornets reach the finals and win then i wont think they r capable of beating all the teams in the west
