Avery Johnson Fired

Avery johnson was fired as the head coach of the maveriks, personally i think this was a good move since the maveriks havent won a playoffs series since their loss to the heat, and they blew last season as the number one seed in the west. wat do u guys think?

yea that becuase chris paul is the best point gaurd in the league he would do that to any PG. and devin harris is not better than jason kidd, the maveriks needed someone who could lead the fast break and anchor their defense and if u watched a single game when they werent playing the hornets, the maveriks were better with jason kidd then when they were without him.

Yeah but what we saw of Harris was nothing to what he will become unlike Jason we already know what he is I think next year alot of people will be pissed about that trade.

alot of people r already pissed about that trade, but i still think it was good for the mavericks and devin harris might turn out to be a great player but the mavericks couldnt wait to develop him because they wanted to have a chance at the championships and they knew they werent going to get there with devin harris in the near future. also even if they had waited the team would have looked much different and they might not have had their key players, and there is no guarantee that devin harris will ever become better than jason kidd.

Didnt the Nets also get 2 firsts? Devin Harris is already MUCH better than Jason Kidd offensively, and defensively Kidd is vastly overrated, I dont care if Paul is the best PG in the league he made Kidd look like a toddler, Kidd is old and washed up and the Mavericks made a HORRIBLE trade to get him, they cost themselves their future and their present isnt looking any better, horrible decision by the front office.
