uhh if u dont have a college education, chances are you will spend it somewhere you shouldnt and end up screwed saying that someone will spontaneously spend millions of dollars because they didnt spend a few years at college is ridiculous. If a player wants to make the immediate jump then let them, im sure they are WELL AWARE of the fact they arent going to college and the risk that they could fail. However with the few hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars a player makes in the first year gives them more than enough money to spend. Not to mention, it isn't as if all nba players dont have advisors or anything. Not to mention even if you fail in the NBA, that still opens plenty of other jobs, typically media-related. And it isn't like you cant go to college later on, just because you wouldnt be living in an 80 room mansion doesnt mean you're screwed. People get by on far lower incomes. | |
